Press clamps in different materials have been developed to cater for a variety of needs and applications. All our press clamps are produced seamless for added safety.

All aluminium press clamps from size 8 and upwards are fully traceable (ISO 9000) and marked with size, type and manufacturing batch number.

Our "INSTRUCTION FOR PRESS CLAMPS" details the correct method of pressing, approx. pressure required and clamp selection criteria.

Our clamps are approved by many International Institutions and Authorities, details available on request.

Both standardised and special designs can be delivered.

T-Clamps (T)

The T-clamp is the original clamp design, intended for galvanized or bright wire ropes. The T-clamp is available from stock in sizes from 1 - 94 and special sizes and lenghts can be made on request. This design correspond to the DIN-standard 3093.

Ultragrip (UM)

Ultragrip Metal (UM)-clamp is a cylindrical clamp with special performance and follows our company standard specification. This clamp becomes smaller in diameter after pressing than the T-clamp. The UM-clamp is available from stock in sizes from 9 - 110.

Round clamps (R)

Round (R)-clamp is intended to be pressed on single wire ropes, for instance on preventer wires or used as end stop. The R-clamp is kept in stock in sizes 1 - 32.

The conical press clamps (TK,TKH and K) are tapered at the back to reduce the risk of load snagging. Furthermore, the conical press clamps are elegant and functional.

Konit (K)

The TK-clamp is a prolonged and tapered T-clamp. Available in sizes 6 - 60.

T-Konit (TK)

The K-clamp consists of a UM-clamp, prolonged and tapered. Available in sizes 9 - 60.

T-Konit-H (TKH)

Our TKH-clamp has an inspection hole to ensure the short end of the wire rope is correctly positioned after pressing.
The TKH-clamp is pressed in a die which has a spigot to ensure that the inspection hole remains open after pressing. This special press clamp correspond to the requirement in DIN 3093 when pressing conical clamps. Patented solution.

Copper clamps (TCU)

The copper press clamps, TCU, are used in a various of applications for instance within the Yachting industry. They are produced seamless for added safety. The copper press clamp (TCU) is intended for stainless steel wire rope to avoid galvanic corrosion. It is available in sizes from 1 - 24. The pressing of TCU-clamps requires approx 25% higher pressure than the corresponding T-clamp of aluminium alloy.

Our press clamps made from carbon steel are aimed for bright and galvanized steel wire ropes and for applications where high temperatures and/or abrasion is a factor to be considered. Examples are the steel melting and fishing industries. The conformity of the metals between rope and clamp eliminates electrolytical corrosion.
All carbon steel press clamps are produced seamless for added safety.

T-Konit-H (TKH)

STD-clamps have an oval, cylindrical shape similar with the T-clamp and are available in sizes from 5 - 16.

T-Konit-H (TKH)

ST-clamps have a slim design to allow lower pressure when pressing the clamp. Available in sizes from 17 - 27.

SLST-clamps also have a slim design but are only made in larger sizes. Available in sizes from 29 - 39. NOTE! SLST-clamps are not for lifting purposes.
T-Konit-H (TKH)

STK-clamps are round clamps in carbon steel and intended to be pressed on single wire ropes. Sizes on request!

Stainless steel clamps (RSTD) are used in fields with high demand for resistance to corrosion and design, f.i. long term use in salt water, use in nuclear power plants, architecture etc. Only the material AISI 316 is used due to the requirements above.
Instructions how to use, select and press are available on request.

Stainless Steel Clamps
(RSTD)

RSTD, stainless steel clamps in a cylindrical, oval shape made of seamless extruded tube. Available in sizes from 1 - 30.
The shape is comparable with the T-clamp but uses other type of press dies and also different diameters after pressing.
NOTE! Not for lifting purposes.
